Australia is a great country to visit and tourists love to explore this continent-nation which is simple yet unique in its own way. Australia is definitely a friendly country and it loves to welcome travellers who are looking forward to enjoy every bit of this nation. However, being a foreigner visiting this large nation, it is important that you remain cautious at each and every step of your trip, so that you can avoid all kinds of unfortunate accidents. Tips to Observe while visiting Australia

1) Australia is a vast country and while travelling, it is important that you take frequent rests so that you do not get tired. If you are travelling through the interior remote areas, it is quite possible that you may stumble across unanticipated incidents. It is important that you plan out your trip wisely, if you want to visit such remote areas. You should also seek local advice during such travels regarding the weather and the terrain conditions.

2) If you plan to venture out on a bushwalk or national park expedition, you must always remember that such parks are situated in the deep, remote areas and in case of medical emergencies; it may take a considerable amount of time for help to arrive. You should always take plenty of water with you during such trips and should always carry provisions for creating temporary shelter to shield against the harsh sun.

3) It is not advisable to hitchhike, as there have been incidents where tourists went missing while hitchhiking. Also, the crime rates in hitchhiking areas are quite high.

4) Australia is definitely a gorgeous nation, but it seems that some residents of the living world of the country are pretty unforgiving. The country is a treasure-house of venomous snakes and spiders, jellyfish, sting fish, crocodiles, blue ring octopuses and sharks. Also, stay away from the cute-looking animals such as koalas and wombats, as they can also bite and injure you.

5) Be extremely careful if you indulge in rock climbing. The weathered down rocks of Australia are deceptive and a little carelessness can turn your adventure into a risky or even fatal one.

6) It is important that you are clearly aware of how fierce the sun shines in Australia. Long sleeved and long-legged clothes are preferred and you should always wear a hat when you venture out. It is absolutely necessary that you wear sunscreen of a high SPF and avoid being in the sun from 11 in the morning to 3 in the afternoon.

7) Several beach incidents have occurred due to rip currents and it can happen any time at the beach. Always make sure that you swim only between the yellow and red flags and never swim alone. Never go out to swim at unsupervised locations.

Australia is definitely the land of unsurpassed beauty and it is a very clean country. It is so enormous that travellers often have to visit Australia a couple of times so that they can explore the country completely.
